Trying to write about anything other than the political situation really does feel like arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Right now, I just wish that I could fast-forward through the next ten years...watching the decay of the Republic is going to be indescribably painful. If I had my choice, I'd skip to the point where the economy is in flames, the military in tatters, and people are starving on the streets, so I could get in a quick "I told you so."

You need to get out and clear your head, that's what I've been doing. I know that things are bad, will be bad and may continue to be bad for a while. You've got to go on. I'd suggest we get together sometime if you weren't so far off most of the time and have the family responsibilities on the weekend.

Do you have free time coming up on Friday? We could get together, get some food, etc. Let me know if that would be of interest. Kiralee & Cindy are hosting Fz.'s game on Friday (which I'm not in) and that means its a perfect time to be out of the house...
