Weekend with Sebastian
Somehow the subject of roleplaying games came up when I was talking to Sebastian this weekend. Before I knew it I had hauled out my D&D books and he was playing with my dice. He found them very interesting. He really wanted to play, but I explained that you need to be able to read the books. "Let's play without the books, Daddy!" he said.
I got five unsolicited "I love you, Daddy"'s over the weekend, as well as two "You're my best friend"'s. And he kept asking me to play with him, so I did. We started by pretending to be worms under the blankets, and things just kept getting weirder and weirder and funnier and funnier. We laughed our brains out. It's good to know that I can still keep up with him, imagination-wise.
I'm so lucky. :D
