Sebastian's new school
Sebastian started first grade at his new school last Wednesday. He took the bus from the corner of our street. He looked so cute climbing into the bus! Teri and I drove to meet him at the school the first two days.
He has already made several friends. So far no problems with the religious aspect of the school; they pray three times a day, and everybody sings "I believe in God", but he didn't seem to be bothered and hasn't shown any signs of being indoctrinated.
He did get a bit upset a couple of nights ago, though. He told me he doesn't want us to move out of our house; he likes the paint on the walls of his room, and the glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling, and his school. I reassured him that if we moved we'd paint his new bedroom the same color and put up the stars again - and we'd only move somewhere with a very good school for him.
