GoodReads friends request explosion
For some reason I'm getting an explosion of friends requests over on GoodReads. I've gotten five or six so far today. None of them are from people I know; some are from authors who are apparently pushing their own books, and who have friended thousands of people.
And I'm not even INTERESTED in their books.
The latest request was from a new member. He has no books, no entries, and no friends. He doesn't even live in a state, just the USA.
I can't help but feel that I'm being exploited somehow! Does anyone know what's going on?
