Sigh...my dark side...
I'm struggling with my dark side on Advicenators.
Like this question. A girl wants to know how to dump her boyfriend, since the spark is gone.
And it's all I can do not to channel Homer Simpson:
"Stand aside, everybody! Sensitive love letters are my speciality.
That always makes me crack up.

Dear Baby,
Welcome to Dumpsville. Population: You.
PS - I am gay."
That always makes me crack up.

I couldn't read the link. I'd be inclined to tell the girl that just because the spark is gone, that doesn't mean she has to end things with her boyfriend. All relationships naturally evolve, and you will never hold onto that butterfly feeling you get in the intial stages of a romance. What does happen though, is your relationship can change into something more comfortable and secure. Which in my mind is no less better than the excitement of a new relationship.
I think this is one of my main reasons for being poly, I get both.

If you're referring to me, I don't mind at all. It seems like common sense to me. It's amazing how many people are lacking in that, especially young people.
