Quick Updates
I'm incredibly short of sleep and it's really late for me, but I wanted to record some quick firsts before I go to bed:
On Monday, we took Sebastian to the doctor (he's had a bad cough for quite a while). He's been crying hysterically every time we've seen the doctor in the past, and has even worked himself up to the point of vomiting all over the place several times, but this time he not only didn't vomit, he didn't even cry. In fact, he played with the doctor's stethoscope, putting the earpieces back into her ears and putting the other end onto his tummy. We were amazed, and really proud.
He also has finally reached the point of getting out of his crib on his own. Unfortunately his preferred method is to basically push himself up until he's half over the crib railing, and then plummet, headfirst, onto the floor. I don't know how he managed not to hurt himself this morning, frankly. I've put a lot of cushions next to his crib as an interim safety procedure before we can think of something better.
Not as momentous, but still of mild interest: yesterday for the first time he asked me to whistle a song, rather than sing it. Not sure what that means, but it surprised me nonetheless.
Oh, and I finally seem to be in a game. More on that later.

The Game
Gluttony
Gluttony, second try
I should confess that apart from being a fun night out for me, the Thursday night game also allows me to have nearly the perfect meal: roast beef sandwiches and fries from the Beef Barn (on Thursday nights the roast beef is perfect), and a giant 32-ounce chocolate Awful-Awful from the Newport Creamery which is just down the road from the game. Need I admit that I have already added the Newport Creamery number to my cell phone? :D
