Hurried Note

Lots has happened lately; really too much to cover in a quick note. But quick it has to be, because I'm late to pick up Teri. The three of us are heading off for a long vacation.

But...

Sebastian lost his left upper front tooth yesterday; that's his third. Unfortunately he lost it while eating a Wendy's hamburger, and swallowed it. We're unlikely to recover it, but the Tooth Fairy still delivered.

He also had his last soccer game of the season a week or to ago. It went pretty well.

I don't know how much I'll be online this coming week, but if you're on my flist and want to reach me for some reason, you can call me at the GrandCentral number I posted yesterday. I'll try to do some voice posts.

Have a great Fourth. With any luck, two years from now we'll all be celebrating an America free of Tyrant King George. I hope so, anyway.

Brianna has lost at least two teeth that had to be explained to the tooth fairy. One went down with a bite of an apple, the other got lost at her dad's house. I was kind of disappointed because I am keeping all her baby teeth to show her someday once she knows there is only Mommy and not a tooth fairy. But I was not desperate enough to have all of them to search either the far end of the digestive track or her father's house. I am not sure which would be scarier!
