School

My little guy is going to spend his first day at school tomorrow. It's an experimental thing; he'll spend three hours there tomorrow, and if he's okay with it he'll start full-time next week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You know, I'm kind of wondering if anyone is reading this thing! There haven't been any comments for weeks, which is kind of unusual. I suppose if I were an attractive woman with a penchant for writing about my sexual adventures I'd have all kinds of eager and solicitous commentators...oh well.

Hmm. Suddenly I have an urge to re-stage my "Tiffany" experiment. But then, I haven't told that story yet, have I?

For some reason I'm reminded of an aphorism I created in college:

"Men are pigs, and women are crazy."

As you probably know, I've just gotten back from Seattle (see my journal for the details) and haven't had time to do much in the way of replies to anyone.

Anyway, I have also seen only a very limited number of posts recently - everyone appears to be a bit too busy with their own lives to share with others, evidently. I suspect it's a matter of this and just not hitting the right subjects to get the attention of others.... maybe you should use sexy subject lines, or provacative ones, to get seen. I suspect a lot of folks just skip over the 'boring ones'.

I've also been using a lot more cuts to reduce size of my posts, from the advice of others, so folks have to make an effort to read the details. I'm wondering if this was a mistake considering the drop off in replies.

Actually...I was getting a bit irked (or depressed) by one specific journal. For some reason reading about someone's wonderful life and all the incredible sex they're having just gets on my nerves. Not that my life is so bad, mind you; in fact, things have been better than usual lately.

It's just, well, I missed out on all that stuff when I was younger, and for some reason it bothers me. I have a sudden strong suspicion that it's something to do with the coming of spring.

That said, I think I may remove that person from my friends list, if only because they are so incredibly prolific that everyone else on my friends list is effectively being drowned out.
