Sick

I'm home sick today. I'll spare you the details. If only I could spare myself the details as well!

Here's an epigram I just derived from an answer I wrote over an Askville about the "risk of faith" in being an atheist:

"We are feeling beings that think, not thinking beings that feel."

"Risk of faith" seems to be a bogus term, perhaps an unfortunate one or perhaps intended to be provocative. I tend towards the "Spiritual faith is mostly based on emotion and feeling, not reason," and don't give two figs (beyond being annoyed with the arrogance of some) about arguments to the contrary. Of course I also don't go looking for such discussions; they're largely pointless to me.

A whole lot of sick has been going on lately; I've had some manner of something with sinus and sore throat and mild phlegm and tiredness and mental befuddlement (more than my normal befuddlement, that is). Felt better today.
