The Last Battle
I just finished reading The Last Battle to Sebastian; we've finally completed the Narnia series. He liked it very much. In fact, the moment I finished, he burst out "Please please please please someone write seven more Narnia books!".
The religious aspect wasn't at all a problem. In fact, he told me that it wasn't exactly a happy ending, since everyone died. I didn't argue with him. I sang him to sleep, and he was out like a light half-way through "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".
