Robert Arthur

Robert Arthur is apparently much more appreciated in many other parts of the world. Or at least the Three Investigators are. Wikipedia lists an astonishing number of countries where they're beloved - they're still writing new books!

They had a reissue at The Shire, but I didn't want it. They also had some lovely large old hardcovers that Robert Arthur edited (and sometimes wrote) for Alfred Hitchcock. They were $20 apiece, though; even at 20% off that was a little steep for me! I have most of them already anyway. Still...I'll probably go back soon.

Unless you beat me there. :D

It's good to know that appreciation of Arthur isn't restricted to males!
