Alxnet, the webservice that I use for my site guestbook and Chaos Project, STILL hasn't activated my new account. I'm starting to think that this is deliberate, because I wrote to their support team a week ago and still haven't heard back - not even an automated response.
Maybe this is their way of driving off everyone who uses their free service.
Paranoid, maybe, but possible - so I just saved every entry in each of the four books. They're secure in local html files.
I'll look into setting up new guestbooks soon. Taking all the old entries (there are thousands) and somehow translating them into online archives is going to be a bitch, though.
Other news: I've got a hell of a head cold today. Started to feel it Tuesday night during the D&D game, and went on Zicam immediately. I'm still using that, and ibuprofen, and have continued taking a multivitamin. With luck, I'll be able to beat this thing. So far it seems to be restricted to my sinuses, with lots of sneezing, coughing and postnasal joy.
Oh yeah - plus the damnedest pain in my sinuses. It's too early for the flu, right?
