This morning I woke up with a nasty cold. I'm pretty sure the worst of it will hit me during Arisia. I only hope that I don't lose my voice.

This morning Teri called me to tell me that our basement is full of sewage again.

I wish this all would stop.

Just randomly responding. Image

Thanks, I eventually did!

I tried popping back at you, but when I started reading your journal I was suddenly overcome with a feeling of incredible age. I'm all wrinkly and old! When did that happen? Image

Hahaha, I know the feeling (although, not as strongly I'd imagine!)

You're welcome to pop in and stay a while, if you feel so inclined. :o)

Is there anything in the housing insurance to deal with all this? I mean, clearly there are some inherent problems with that building, although I suppose weather and freezing could be the problem here. I wish there was something I could do to help, but well...

Good point - I'll look into it, if I have to. The insurance company covered most of the cost of the original repair work; the only problem could be that the damage is probably not actually under the house, but five to seven feet out from the cellar, somewhere under our front walk. I'll have to see if I can find and figure out our policy.
