I Am Confused!

Bush doesn't need to pay conservative columnists to push his policies. They'd do it for free, for him.

So why is he stealing our tax dollars? I can't come up with a decent reason! Is it just for the pleasure of taking taxpayer's hard-earned money and giving it to his supporters? Is he that addicted to stealing?

And WHY isn't this case being prosecuted? I'm 99% certain that this is a real, federal crime we're talking about!

Hi Collie! I didn't know you had an LJ. Ah, I see that it's relatively recent - November 2004. Consider yourself friended. :D

As for what's been up...it's been a long time, huh?

I got married, and we had a baby. A red-headed boy! He's three now, but here's a picture of him when he was two:



Apart from that...I haven't been writing anything creative, and I haven't been able to do any real roleplaying. Which sucks, no two ways about it. But you can read all my whining in my journal, if you're really bored sometime. :D

So what's new with you?

That is, assuming you get through the many and varied spam traps on my account. I get over 5,400 spams sent to me each day, and therefore use spam-killing programs of uncommon ferocity and viciousness. For some reason I also haven't been able to check stuff that's been blocked on the server side.

Which is to say, if you emailed me since you wrote this, I didn't get it. I WILL definitely respond to you when you write, so if you do/did and don't hear from me, let me know here - okay?

Well, it's a way of rewarding their supporters. Graft, of a sort. Define the action properly and it ends up possibly passing as legal. It's being done because, well, it can be done.

It's hardly new. Rewarding supporters as best as one can within the rules set up back in the good old days. Contracts, jobs, and in this case payment for a task they were already performing.

So while I'm certainly convinced that the current GOP regime is corrupt and amoral, this is perhaps one of their more trivial stunts.
