Why I Get Pissed Off

George W. Bush is requesting that $361 million dollars be cut from the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund.

From the lead article in Salon today:

"This cut also comes on the heels of reports that the EPA has been considering "sewage blending," whereby treatment plants mix raw sewage together with fully treated wastewater during storms and declare it potable (emphasis added). This practice -- a veritable fount of waterborne diseases, according to environmentalists -- is necessitated by the dire need for sewage upgrades in low-income areas throughout the nation."

So now George W. Bush wants me and my family to DRINK SEWAGE. I only wish I could return the favor.

And this is the man that millions of Americans think was sent by God?!?

If they're really that stupid, Americans DESERVE to drink sewage!

But I don't. And neither do millions of other Americans.

The stupidity of the administration continues to boggle the mind...

Mmmm...sewage....

One of the blogs or whatever noted that Bush seems to think that his Social Security plans actually helped him to win Florida in 2000 (you know, when he actually seems to have lost?); he actually thinks it's popular even though the polls are against his sorts of changes. Bush is out of touch with reality, with courtiers who hide him from any negativity.

It is, well, kind of incredible that Dubya got another term. Near as I can figure many of those who voted for him are even more out of touch with reality, seeing a different person and a different "reality" than the rest of us. Oh well....

Yeah... the problem is, the rest of US are getting the government THEY deserve. :P

Well, yeah.

Which is why it would be nice if we could have a seperation. Reset button; split up the nation into two or three countries. One can have a modern and progressive society, and one can go and turn themselves into a third-world country that pretends to be the greatest country on Earth.

There are times when I have to wonder if we shouldn't have let the south go away.

Heh! A tempting thought.
