Late
At 12:45 am last night Sebastian woke us with an incredibly loud scream. We both ran into his room; he was crying, almost hysterical. We soothed him, got him a drink, and got him back to sleep.
The next morning (this morning), first thing, he came up to be and asked if a mark next to his eye was a pimple. I thought it might be, but once I turned on the light and took a good look, I saw that he had two long parallel scratches going diagonally from between his eyes across to below his right eye. If the scratch was continuous, it went directly over his eye.
It was just a red mark above/between his eyes, but the part below his eye is fairly deep - it looks like a cat scratch, although that seems unlikely. His eye itself seemed unharmed. We'll see how it looks tonight, and take him to the doctor if necessary.
I'm very tired. I may take the weekend off from the computer. It would be a nice change.
