If it isn't one thing...
In the last two days my lungs have started to get better - they aren't totally clear, but I haven't had those agonizing, spasmodic fits of coughing that bring me right up to the edge of vomiting.
So of course my back had to get bad in the last two or three days. And this morning, it was really bad.
Bad enough that I took a Vicodin the first moment that I could. That helped, but I called my doctor, got a refill on the Vicodin - I only had 7 left - and made arrangements for physical therapy. To paraphrase Homer Simpson, "I honestly hope that physical therapy is not as horrible as all the stories make it out to be."
