Defaced bumper sticker
I saw a defaced bumper sticker today. It said:
DEFEND AMERICA:FIRE THE REPUBLICANS!
The "Fire the Republicans" part had been deliberately scratched or scribbled over many times, so that it was almost unreadable. Fortunately we were stuck behind that car at a long light, so I was eventually able to puzzle it out.
There was also a newer-looking bumper sticker next to it that said "MORE TREES - LESS BUSH", so I don't think the car had been bought used by a Republican from a Democrat.
This made me wonder: I've never seen or heard of a right-wing or Christian bumper sticker being defaced, but I've sure heard of lots of Democratic, liberal, and atheistic bumper stickers being destroyed! Not to mention their cars being keyed, their tires slashed, etc. etc. Am I just missing the reports of hostilities on the other side?
