A thought: advice
Something occurred to me recently.
I'm pretty good at writing advice. It seems to be one of my talents, bolstered by all the reading I do and my trick memory. Currently over on Askville 46% of my 243 answers have won the "best answer" ribbon, and over 90% have been rated between 3.5 and 5 stars. Both of those statistics are well above the average.
So it occurred to me that I might as well put up a post here, just in case anyone would like to get some advice from me. I'll screen all comments. If anyone asks a question, I'll either answer in email (assuming you want it kept private), or if you prefer I'll unscreen it, along with my answer.
Obviously if I don't have your email address I can't answer privately! But I will not unscreen any comment without specific written permission by the author.
This might be kind of interesting, if anyone takes me up on it. I have to admit that once in a while I've sort of "asked" myself a question as if I were looking for advice, and I often end up surprised at the answer.
In any case, I promise to do my best to answer any questions and to keep anything private strictly confidential. Although of course I have to note that the odds are that both the US and Russian governments can easily access anything written here.
Okay. I'm going to bed. I wonder if I'll see any responses in the morning?
