A Post from Fuitadnet

This is a post from the Fuitadnet forums - specifically, for tickets which have not been resolved. That section is (it says) reviewed daily by the CEO.

So why am I cross-posting it here? Because it makes me laugh, even though I wrote it. See if you can guess why.
Ticket #DKQ-60918-644 (SpamAssassin)
------------------------------------------------------
This is a continuation of the long chain of SpamAssassin tickets and problems I've had for the last year or so.

I've gotten some response, but the last one I got suggested that SpamAssassin was working correctly. Since a week ago only 1-2 spams a day got into my inbox, and for the past three days it has been 1000+ per day, I have a hard time believing that SpamAssassin is just fine.

I also have a hard time believing that hundreds of spams with subjects like "FIND YOUR F-CK-BUDDY" (without the expurgation I've used here) would normally make it through a properly functioning SpamAssassin.

Yes, I have a juvenile sense of humor. So sue me.

Once again I submit the time for a new web/e-mail host is long past. :-)

I gotta agree with [livejournal.com profile] iamtim on this one.

The thing is, it's such a HUGE pain to move everything. And every time I do, the next place is as bad or worse within a few months.

Not to mention that moving my domains would cost money...which I don't have. Maybe someday.

In the meantime, I always have the ultimate option of bitching on webhostingtalk.com. The CEO knows very well that I'll do that if I'm pushed to it, and he has good reason not to want more negative press. The last major thread about Fuitadnet there brought almost EVERYBODY who had ever worked for that company out, to air long-held grievances...it was beautiful. Jeeze, three of the guys there were apparently in love with the same girl, who was hired to work there herself. A recipe for disaster.

Call me Loki...sometimes I really like to stir up trouble. As long as it's justified. Or at least kinda. :D

ROFL! Yep, I'd say that SA is not working...

Huh.

So, am I missing out on huge piles of spam because I'm a virtual Unperson, a near Blank, or is AOL actually half-way decent about dealing with spam?
