Online Photo Question

Question: I want to post a lot of photographs online for my friends and family. I want to be able to protect some of them with passwords to limit access (don't worry, I'm not posting naked photos of myself - the world has enough ugly things in it as it is ).

And I want it to be free.

Can anyone suggest a good service? Fuitadnet offers a few options with their accounts, but given the quality of their service I'd do better to print out the photos in black & white and dump them from the top of the Landmark Tower, trusting the four winds to carry them to their various destinations...

There was another question, but I just deleted it.

Um, photobucket?

Oh, and I've heard good things about imageshack.

Thanks! I'll probably try one of them tonight.

I was under the impression (could be wrong about this) that such a thing wasn't actually that hard to do in html. From what I recall, you know html. Maybe you could do this yourself?

I could be way off base on this.

I do know HTML, but it would be a huge pain in the ass to hand-code HTML for hundreds of images. Plus the password thing; it would be difficult to work out.

Hand-code html? I was more thinking of something that password-protects any access to a directory and you just put all your images in that directory.
