Medical update

I just went to the doctor for my one-month followup appointment. I've been taking Atenolol for one month now for borderline-high blood pressure.

It wasn't terribly high before; 150/94. But the 'normal' standard has been lowered, so my doctor put me on Atenolol, which is a beta blocker.

So they checked me today. I've lost a few pounds, and my blood pressure is 130/84. Which is, according to my doctor, great.

She was able to give me a printout of a graph of my blood pressure going back to 8/31/1988, almost EXACTLY 17 years ago. On that date, my blood pressure was...130/90.

I feel good.
