Sebastian meets Doctor Worm

Sebastian is on a They Might Be Giants jag. He has watched Direct From Brooklyn several times in the past few days (forcing me to skip the few songs he doesn't like), and particularly enjoys "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" and "Doctor Worm". He calls John Linnell "Doctor Worm" because he sings that song, and it confuses him that both TMBG are named John. Last night after I read him his bedtime story he sang "Doctor Worm" to me and then went straight to sleep.

Which "Istanbul" video does he prefer?

"Doctor Worm" is a goofy song but like several TMBG tunes it is very interesting to listen to; they're actually pretty good muscians. They're not just a "novelty" duo.

Initially he exclusively preferred the creepy-looking one with stop-motion animation, but later he started enjoying the Tiny Toons one as well - but never as much the the original one.

We've also been listening to a TMBG compilation disk in the car. He sings along.
