Question: Again

I've asked this before, but a couple of new people have been friended recently.

Come to think of it, last time I don't think I got any responses at all. That's par for the course.

Basically, my question is: would it be at all helpful if I imitated [livejournal.com profile] unquietsoul5 and did a "Cast of Characters" post, detailing the people who may appear in my journal? Or should I save myself the bother? After all, I'm nowhere near as popular as [livejournal.com profile] unquietsoul5. Not to mention - well, no point in naming names.

I await comments with bated breath.

One-liners on everyone would make an interesting read.

It cetainly sounds like an interesting idea...

I couldn't find the post you were referencing, but I like the idea and may swipe it myself. If I do, I'll probably either link to it from my main LJ page so it can be easily found, or just put it in my profile information.

Although, thinking about it, it could just as easily be put in a memories link, or in sidebar text depending your layout(mine supports an insane amount of sidebar text.)

On a related note, I really like his copyright notice and will almost certainly do something similar on my page.

You probably couldn't find it because you're not on my friends list, and generally my 'cast of characters' only gets posted up whenever I have new folks join my flist so it doesn't clutter folks up too badly.

That's to keep everything under a low level curtain of privacy, so that I don't make general public knowledge things that might be detrimental to friends in regards to their employers etc. I don't just friend everyone back, I do check folks out to see if they are semi-compatible with me and my interests etc. It keeps out spammers, trolls and the like for the most part.
