Something I don't see

There's something I just realized that I don't see any more, something that I used to see a lot: those "SO GLAD I VOTED FOR BUSH" bumper stickers. They were basically a great big "Fuck You" to the majority of voters who voted against King George, of course, and I always resented them.

But I haven't seen one for at least several months. I wonder what happened? Aren't they glad any more?

I'm sure that in the South and much of the West that sort of thing is still common. Last bumper sticker I saw in that veiw was a few months ago, featuring a peace sign and the caption "Footprint of the American Coward." Something like that. Because, of course, spouting support for the policies of the people in power is so much more brave than standing out in opposition, and as brave as actually putting one's life on the line in the war. To be sure, the person might have been a Vet and/or with a kid in the war; still, it had a certain "Chickenhawk" thing about it.
