Snow

It's Tuesday morning, and we've got the first nor'easter of the year. It's hard to tell how bad it is; right now there are about three or four inches on the ground, I'd say. But it's still coming down fast, so I'm staying home from work.

We had a power outage this morning; the lights turned dim for a few minutes, then went out altogether. Actually, the odd thing was that Sebastian's night light still glowed faintly while the rest of the power was out. Anyway, the power came back about ten minutes ago.

I'd better post this now, while I can.

No Snow here in town, Just rain. The temp has been too high for it to become snow... and it washed away the snow we had over the weekend already.

Yeah, we've had squat for snow accumulation in Boston. Apparently it ended up warmer than the weatherfolk expected. A little bit wet and there was some ice on the sidewalk when I walked from the grocery store, but not much else. We can live with that. :)

Initially it was supposed to hit Boston harder than RI, but it turned out exactly opposite. Some places in RI got more than a foot - including, fortunately, my team leader's house. So she didn't come in, either.
