Does anyone really do IRC any more? Cindy used to be an IRC fanatic back in the day, but I don't think she's been on IRC in a couple of years now at all.

Maybe that's the problem.

Actually, there's still a fair amount of activity in some channels. It's like Usenet; very little of the net goes totally fallow. There are always a fair number of die-hards.
