Those are actually pretty good; I could see those as being authentic poems of the feudal era, or the period at the end or after when romanticized views of Chivalry were kicking into popular notions and fiction.

Then again, I'm not knowlegible about poetry.

I have to admit that once I worked out the second one, the first improved in my estimation. Last night I was lying in bed (couldn't sleep), so I went over them both several times in my head...and every time I reached the final line, I chuckled.

Fortunately Teri was asleep, or she might have smacked me.
