Just got myself a paid account here on LJ. Sort of a birthday present to myself.

So...what will that do for me? Will it allow me to make my journal look better?

Any suggestions or tips?

Alternatively, jazz up your html, add a thousand userpics and make some phone posts so we can hear what your voice sounds like.

It would actually be incredibly cool to hear what your voice is like. Maybe you could read out one of your posts so I can get an idea of how it sounds to you?

Maybe I could read some of my favorite poetry. Or a story for Sebastian. I've often thought it would be cool to make a voice recording of some of those cool old out-of-print books.

And everyone who has heard me seems to think that I'm really good at reading aloud. Hmm...maybe I'll do it.

Yaaay! I love having stories read to me. A Canadian acquaintance once read out Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood via a phone post and it was beyond excellent.
