I read The Boondocks every day, but to be honest, it doesn't make me laugh all that often. But Saturday's strip really made me laugh out loud.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who's ever felt that way. Have you?

Totally unrelated weird dream: I dreamed I wrote a poem that turned to be perfect as lyrics for a popular song. It was re-recorded with my lyrics and became a big hit. Also dreamed that I ran into an old college roommate, and walked around with him in an insanely huge store. I've been mad at him for twenty years now; maybe I'm finally over that.

I don't know if it's an Armenian thing (I think it is), a family thing, or what, but I hold grudges. I'm slower than most to lose my temper (except when it comes to politics), but once I'm really angry at a person, I stay that way - for years. I don't forgive.

Most of the people in my extended family are that way, actually. Lots of long-running feuds that are taken to the grave. But that's probably why we treat each other better than some other families seem to. And we hold our tempers longer - because if we lose them, the consequences can be so serious.

Teri's family is almost exactly the opposite, by the way.

Hmmm, grudges pretty much hurt oneself more than anybody else. Granted that I didn't go into the Strawberry's in Downtown Crossing for a number of years after imployees implied that i was probably a shoplifter ('cause I didn't initially leave my bag at the door 'cause I didn't see a sign for it), but overall I don't do the grudge thing. Might, to be sure, be more because I don't deal well with strong emotions, particularly the negative ones. Messes me up big time; thus I avoid that sort of thing.
