Mutants!

Looks like Sebastian and me are mutants! Or, well, genetically extremely unlikely. I hadn't realized that red hair combined with brown eyes was so unusual.

Of course, my eyes are such a dark brown that most people think they're black, and Sebastian's eyes are a beautiful sort of hazel, root-beer-barrel color - really, they almost match his hair - but technically, we're both brown-eyed redheads. Although someone recently told me that now I'm a blonde. But I refuse to accept that.

The weirdest thing is that I was just thinking about saying that! In your close up picture, where you're sitting down (I think) you look very much red headed. But in the slightly further out picture where you're standing up outside with the blue top on, you look almost blonde.

And yes, it is fairly rare to have blonde/red hair and brown eyes. Almost all people with blonde/red hair have blue eyes.

Hmm, my eyes are almost brown and that's what it says on my ancient SD driver's licence, but there more I guess, uhh, hazel or something. Didn't look yet completely at the article (I should be out buying a computer case) but I'd think that if there's a thing making it uncommon it would be that red hair is recessive while brown eyes are dominant.

Now, according to Iridology the only natural eye colors are brown and blue and anything else is a sign of illness. Of course they see all kinds of sickness in the eyes; my one experience pretty much tells me that it's really an excuse to get people to buy extremely expensive herbal and related medicines.
