Of course the bloviating bastard may change his mind later - it wouldn't surprise me - but it looks like it may finally have penetrated his skull that he doesn't have the ghost of a chance.

I'm a tiny bit surprised; while I'd figured it made little sense for him to run as he wasn't that great a candidate to begin with, natural human vanity might make him think he was. But I suppose with all the buzz being made for Hillary and Obama (although I don't think either of them will get it either) Kerry's people figured it wasn't worth the bother.
