How many of us are now going to tell the DNC to go to Hades? The DNC has just disenfranchised the Florida Democrats by removing our right to have ANY delegates at the convention. Our legislature still still run by the Republicans, so now we can really get punished. Guess I will start pushing for all of us to refuse to back the DNC..and possibly change voter registrations to Independent. I don't see that the DNC is helping their cause at all. They have talked the good game of making sure all votes are counted; well, we just got slapped and our votes in the primary will count for nothing. In fact, the way the news was explaining it today, we won't have ANY say in the Democratic Primary for the national convention. So, why should I waste a vote for a Democrat who isn't going to be able to have a say.
I assume that Florida Granny came over because of a post I did over on the DNC blog about primaries. She probably accidentally clicked on the comment option above the primary post here on LJ, and ended up commenting on the Fred Phelps entry rather than the primary one. If she's new to LJ, that's an entirely understandable mistake.
She has now also apparently mistaken unquietsoul5 for me.
Florida Granny, if you do happen to come back, sorry for the misunderstanding - it was not intentional. I do welcome new readers, rare as they are.
Eh, probably just somebody looking for attention. Fred Phelps's "church" seems primarily to be an exercise in a kind of twisted narcissism, a big "Look At Me! I'm Obnoxious!" thing. Probably in the same spirit.
Welcome to the Looney's On Parade.... a regular feature we have here in Cambridge. In this case a Christian Looney, by the sounds of it, who is complaining that other folks' children are being taught a 'Gay Agenda' in a school system that they have no real connection with.
We get them all the time... the Christians from out of state who want to preach at us, the Larouchies who want to bug us with nonsense for half a block down the street when we ignore them etc.
Check the local papers and see if there is some mention of a protest, or if there is a school committee election coming up etc.

Post on things anonymously on a totally unrelated subject makes you look like a crazy person.

The guy is opposed to "gay fascism"; are their other forms of fascism he approves of? Or would he like Gay Communism?
