Not writing

This will have to be brief. I haven't been writing much here because I have a couple of slightly scary appointments coming up, and for some reason if I write here I know that I'll have to write and think about them. If that makes any sense.

Nothing life-threatening; I have a large cavity that needs to be filled tomorrow (!), a patch test for allergies at the hospital, and my annual check-up after that. Nothing serious at all.

But they all make me a little nervous, and for some reason that makes it harder for me to write.
