I was doing a little research and came across a page with the text of many of Kilgore Trout's short stories.

Hmm, interesting. As we all know, "Kilgore Trout" was largely inspired at least in name by Theodore Sturgeon, but the Trout stories don't really look like Sturgeon's stuff. And of course Sturgeon was a relatively successful writer save for apparently having some trouble with writer's block.
