Sick again? Still?
Over the last two or three days I've been coughing a lot more more and feeling terrible - my head's been throbbing, and my lungs are filling up again. Yup, the bronchitis is back.
My doctor thinks it (the cold/bronchitis/sinus infection) never entirely left. So she's running another course of antibiotics on me. And she's prescribed some insanely powerful (and insanely expensive) narcotic cough syrup - the maximum dose is one teaspoon per 12 hours.
It's delicious, and unlike the codeine syrup this stuff seems to work. I'm not dizzy or drowsy, but I'm hardly coughing at all.
