Which means that next year it'll probably be Hillary Clinton vs John McCain. In other words, we'll probably be saying hello to President McCain come 20 Jan. 2009.
Romney couldn't possibly win. He was such a weasel even the Republicans ended up not supporting him. He was a shapeless metamorph who probably would have magically turned into a Moderate once he had the nomination.
McCain, on the other hand, can win unless of course there is a serious third party conservative candidate.
