Because

Salvatore Minella is at his favorite restaurant, dining on salmon. But he doesn't know that this particular salmon was a magic fish; she could talk. Her name was Ella.

Ella did not ask the fisherman who caught her to let her go because she couldn't speak English. She could only speak Fish. In any case, she wasn't feeling well that day. She was badly infected with Anisakis nematodes.

Would you believe that your post was the number five result when I looked for Salvatore Minella? The first two referred to a Muppet, the third noted a real person by that name, and the fourth just had "Salvatore" in one name and "Minella" in another name.

I've been wondering if anyone actually got it...and if that's even humanly possible. Who knows, maybe it's pathetically obvious. I don't know.

Well, the name of the Muppet did kinda illuminate things. :)
