Physical Therapy, part 2

Once again physical therapy was pretty painful. I think I'll take Vicodin before the next one.

But there has been some improvement since Monday (only two days ago). My arm can now bend to a 116° angle; on Monday it could only bend to 110° (my uninjured right arm can bend to 130°). I don't know how straight my arm could go on Monday, but it's visibly straighter now; I can get it to only a 10° bend.

I have to keep up with the exercises. They do seem to be paying off.

You might not want to take the Vicoden before. That could lead to problems of overdoing it because you aren't feeling the pain, and make it worse by injuring it more. You want ot feel it while you are doing it so you don't overdo. Wait until after the PT to take the pain killers.

PT is always really painful when you start but gets easier as you start getting better. Hang in there.

What sort of excercises? Do you do the gripping wrist rotating or are they isometric where they have you flexing the muiscle?
