Why Lieberman must go
From a comment over on CNN:
Joe Lieberman has done everything in his power to prove that he has enormous hostility towards the Democrats in general and Obama in particular - perhaps because Obama succeeded where Lieberman failed.
In any case, Lieberman CANNOT be allowed to remain in his current chairmanships. They have oversight responsibilities and investigatory powers which he refused to exercise over George W. Bush and the Republicans, but is SURE to use against the new Obama administration.
He is a constant threat to the Democratic caucus. Leaving him in his chairmanships would be the act of a fool. I don't respect Harry Reid much, nor any of the Democratic leadership, but I would be surprised if they didn't get Lieberman out of those chairs.

Joe Lieberman wrote me a letter once saying that a card that I wrote him touched his heart. This was back before he started being an ass.
I still have that letter he wrote me behind glass along with my other "Stuff I Have Received From Famous Political People."
Senator Lieberman
The anger against Joe Lieberman goes back to 2006. He was not the only Senator who continued to support a forever occupation.
But even then he was unique as a Democrat in going out of his way to taunt those whose support he demanded (http://www.FairAndUnbalanced.com?http://www.testimoanials.com/blog/blog1.php/2008/11/07/joltin-joe-may-leave-and-go-away).
