So I try to update my journal. Write a long entry. And...when I try to post, I lose the whole f_cking thing because some sort of maintainence is going on. I'm supposed to "try again in a few minutes". But as far as I can tell, my entry is gone, unrecoverable.

I'm pissed.

Well, I can confirm that my last goddamned post was lost, and I am pissed.

Yes, I know Semagic saves posts, but I can't run Semagic here. I have to enter stuff directly into the webpage interface.

LiveJournal has been mostly quite good, but this sort of thing makes me think twice about paying for it.

It's not maintenance, they are having some serious server problems on LJ, period, according to the reponse I got about problems. Some pages aren't working, others are loading at a snails pace, others are crashing.

Not Pleasant. I'm heading offline for a bit and will read stuff later.
