Tired, hit & run again

I'm really tired, so this will be even more poorly written than my usual drivel.

Yesterday Teri's car was hit while it was parked next to the animal shelter where she volunteers. No one saw what happened, but it had to be someone who had specifically driven to the shelter that day - the shelter and parking area are really in the middle of nowhere, far behind a municipal storage buildings with nothing but woods on the other side. Whoever it was did about $700 of damage to the driver's-side door and took off without leaving a note or letting anyone know. Our insurance deductible is $500, so we're totally screwed.

Again, since pretty much the same thing happened to my old Honda about four or five years ago. Except that since this was a new car, we're more screwed.

And, same as last time, the goddamned police are totally useless. Is "There's nothing we can do" the ONLY fucking thing they can ever say?

Really tired. Made a post a few days ago on Yahoo about the Cheney/Leahey thing:
I can't believe it!
How DARE John Kerry sully his office and the Senate of the United States of America - particularly at a time of war! - by using filthy language in the Senate itself. He truly has betrayed the dignity of the Senate and - what? It was Cheney? Oh.

Well...

IT'S ALL CLINTON'S FAULT! He got a bj from Monica, you know.

God, I'm tired. I'm so tired. There's no way to express just how
