Wierd!
Just now I was reaching for a button on a printer when I bumped my right hand against the edge of a cardboard box, tearing open a flap of surface skin next to the knuckle of the ring finger. Mildly painful, but no blood or anything.
Two seconds later as I was walking back to my desk I bumped my left hand against the edge of a hanging in-box outside of my cube, tearing open a flap of surface skin next to the knuckle of the ring finger. Again, mildly painful, but no blood or anything.
One is practically the mirror image of the other. How strange!
By the way, the commute into Boston this morning wasn't bad at all. There were a bunch of young Communists - I mean that literally, they were members of the American Communist Party - handing out fliers at Ruggles, urging everyone to protest the DNC. But they were well-behaved and quiet. I took a flier, of course.
