Flowers
Lots of stories I could tell, I guess, but it doesn't seem worth the bother. I took a few photos yesterday of some of the flowers in our yard; here they are.

I don't know what sort of flower this is, but it has a lovely smell. The best and strongest in the whole yard.
So it goes.

The clouds on Saturday were rather striking, and I was curious to see what it would be like if I photographed the sun. You can see the faint dune-like ripples of high clouds, and the puffy clouds (cumulous, I'm guessing, but I failed meteorology in college) beneath, which moved much more quickly.

A tiger lilly. That's our neighbors' house in the background. Sebastian used to love to watch the kids next door play basketball.

Teri tells me that this is a Tree Rose of Sharon. It rained today, and there are a lot of purple petals in the grass beneath the bush.
