Noble patriots vs. vile traitors
God help us, it's more politics. Snarky politics, to boot!
[Someone commented about the Republican insistance that the Federal Government is EVIIIIILLLLLE!.]
But the Federal Government is the DEVIL! The DEVIL, I tells ye!
Unless it's being run by Republicans, in which case it is the wonderful defender of our freedoms and must never be criticised. Anyone who protests a Republican President is obviously a Marxist traitor and should be executed out of hand!
But those who protest a Democratic President are great patriots and must be treated with the highest reverence. And the noblest patriots of all are idiots who post Republican talking points thinly disguised as "questions" that are either sourced to right-wing media, right-wing "think" tanks, or not sourced at all. Such American heroes must never be criticised or snarked at, because they are delicate little flowers at heart; any criticism is obviously WORSE THAN THE HOLOCAUST. Yes, Republicans are the most persecuted people in all the history of the world!
