Pete, is you entire hand turning black, or just a portion of it, and where? And do you have sensation throughout the hand when you touch it?
If its all over, or affecting your fingers etc then something is wrong with the way your hand is bandaged and there is not enough circulation going on and it needs to be redone.
If its simply black & blue where you injured it thats a different thing entirely.
