Sebastian, for the record
Last week Sebastian made his first recognizable drawing: the sun. I hadn't prompted him to do it at all. He was scribbling away in the corner, when he called out "Daddy, come see! I drew the sun!"
And sure enough, there it was - a circle (lopsided, but definitely a circle) with rays coming out all around. The representation was clear.
On Friday afternoon he surprised me yet again:
"Daddy, an 'A'!"
And it was! A clear capital "A". Today, Teri tells me, he has also drawn a perfect B, as well as a recognizeable C and D. And it's still more than a month before his third birthday.
He started school today, too. He was a bit nervous about being in a new classroom with new teachers, but the classroom is right next to his old one, and almost all of his classmates from summer camp/daycare have moved into the 3-year-old class with him. I'll call soon to see how he's doing.
