i set up an import for everything from my LiveJournal more than a day ago, but the entries and comments still haven't arrived. Of course, I already did that a few years ago, so my older entries are already here. And I assume that the delay is due to the deluge of LJ users who are coming here.

So. I wonder if there will be more activity here than there was there?

My import of entries took about two days to process, and we're almost two days past that for comments. So, they're definitely backed up, but processing.

LJ was pretty dead in what I now think of as its last days, and DW has a *much* smaller number of active users ... but I wonder if it has a larger number of active non-Russian users ... and what the numbers will look like as the exodus continues.
