bobquasit | They Won. Now What?

Last night I saw the Sox get their second and third runs before I went to sleep.

All night I dreamed about the game. Where they still in the lead? Had they finally won the Series? I dreamed that I was turning on the TV to see the score, turning on the computer and looking for a sports website, over and over.

I never dream about sports.

Anyone who knows me is probably mildly amazed, reading this.

This morning I woke up, went downstairs, and turned on the TV. Yes, they'd really won.

Caught my train, went into work - I've mentioned that I work a block from Fenway Park, right? The Fenway trolley stop is LITERALLY in my building's parking lot.

As I got out of the shuttle and walked towards the doors, I heard buzzing and looked up. Not one, but two helicopters were simply hovering above the parking lot.

I suspect that they're news copters, and that they're waiting to film the destruction of Boston by fire and rioters.

But so far, everything seems calm.
