The WoW Diet

Not long ago my doctor told me that if I eliminated 250 calories from my diet every day, I'd lose weight.

Now, I've been having dessert at least six nights out of seven, every week for the last year or so. And not tiny desserts, either. Big slices of Killer Chocolate Cake from Wright's Dairy Farm, or large bowls of Bryer's ice cream - sometimes with hot fudge and whipped cream, to boot!

This past week, though, I've only had dessert once. And I have to credit World of Warcraft, insane though that might sound.

Each night, after Teri and Sebastian have gone to sleep, at the time when I would normally have run downstairs and gotten dessert, instead I ask myself: "Dessert? or World of Warcraft"? And so far, I've played WoW every time - even last night, Sunday, when I had planned to have dessert as a reward for being so good the rest of the week. And the funny thing is that I haven't really missed it!

I haven't been weighing myself. But my clothes are definitely looser, and I feel more comfortable. Let's see how long I can keep this up! :D

Because it was filling a hole that the dessert was attempting to fill. Or maybe you were just eating out of habit.

Also, eating all that junk isn't healthy. Try having fruit from now on for dessert. Maybe a slice of fresh watermellon or a bowl of strawberries. Oh... and did you know that Pineapple changes a certain something??? Peaches & Cream changes it too. But I'll go into that privately later.(think about it.)

Plus WoW builds reflexes, stamina and strength in thinking on your feet and through critical situations.

Here's to a healthier new you.

On-line gaming is good for your health - who'd have thought it? Keep it up!

When you're on the auto travel do 5 push-ups or sit-ups.

Auto travel? What's that?

I think for the Alliance its a griffin, and a giant bat for the Horde. But its like a coach service to get to another area.

Better yet, do 10 push-ups or sit-ups every time you complete a quest.
1 for every monster you kill.

That so doesn't work. Griffon flights are rare for low levels.... and well, thats the time for a bathroom break for most folks.

Time spent away from keyboard afterwards is often fatal in WoW.... leaves you open to a horde ambush.

No place is really ever safe on a PvP server.
